A products manufacturer had some existing floor contraints and needed a system that one operator could run efficiently. They also needed to have all spray capped and clocked, and inspected for proper seals. As the project progressed, the customer introduced a second, smaller can size, and asked that the system be set up to run both sizes with minimal changeover tooling and changeover time.
 
Hoppmann consolidated all the required processing functions into a single assembly turret, which helped to keep the project footprint to a minimum. Hoppmann additionally suggested making a print window adjustment to the can's label to help with the sensor accuracy for radial orientation of the can. The aerosol overcap to can assembly system ran at a rate of 200 part per minute.
