A global manufacturer of molded plastics needed a system to assemble individual pieces of a lipbalm container. The part would be then sent directly to a filing station. Due to the number of different parts, the system needed to be easily changed to incorporate all the different part sizes quickly and efficiently.
 
Hoppmann incorporated three feed systems which led their distinct parts (screw, platform and barrel) into the 24 station assembly turret. The rate of production was 250 parts per minute. All three subsystems were equipped with floor level load heights, which allowed for easier maintenance of product levels in the hoppers.

This completely automated assembly system combined Hoppmann's proven flexibility of design, simple operation, accessibility for ease of maintenance and minimum changeover time.
